Teri Frank
English and Writing Tutor
Teri earned her Master of Arts in English from Stephen F. Austin State University, where she also received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing with a minor in Literature. She brings years of collegiate level teaching experience to Achieve Advisers, having served as an adjunct professor at Texas Christian University and a full-time professor at Tyler Junior College. Now, while raising her family, Teri continues to pursue her passion for education by helping students build confidence, strengthen their academic skills, and achieve their goals.
Teri believes every student deserves to feel confident in their abilities. Organized, detail-oriented, and encouraging, she understands the academic and personal challenges students face and strives to provide the structure, support, and accountability they need to succeed. As both an educator and a mother, she approaches each student with patience and empathy while maintaining high expectations. Her students often describe her as approachable, friendly, and someone who consistently challenges them to do their very best.
Outside of tutoring, Teri enjoys reading, taking walks, and spending time with her family. She and her family are devoted animal lovers and share their home with three cats.
