Savannah Carter
Math Tutor
Savannah Carter brings nearly a decade of classroom experience and a passion for helping students build both mathematical understanding and confidence. She grew up overseas in Papua New Guinea, where her family served as missionaries, before earning her bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Texas A&M University and her master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Arlington. Savannah is certified to teach grades 7–12 and taught high school mathematics for nine years, primarily in Fort Worth ISD.
Savannah believes confidence is the key to academic success. She creates an encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes, and challenging themselves. Her strong content knowledge allows her to quickly identify misconceptions while helping students develop lasting problem-solving skills. Known for her cheerful personality and positive attitude, Savannah brings patience, encouragement, and plenty of laughter to every tutoring session.
Outside of tutoring, Savannah enjoys spending time with her husband and their son, relaxing by the pool, reading fantasy novels, solving puzzles, and traveling. One of her favorite adventures was backpacking across Europe with friends.
