Lucy Valdez

Lucy Valdez grew up in Dallas and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Texas Christian University, where she is expected to graduate in 2029. She has always loved math and science and hopes to become a nurse anesthetist after graduation. In high school, Lucy was actively involved in drill team and served as a dance officer for three years, where she enjoyed encouraging and leading her teammates.
Lucy brings a thoughtful, organized, and encouraging approach to every tutoring session. She especially enjoys helping students grow in math and science while building confidence and discovering the learning strategies that work best for them. She also enjoys helping students develop practical skills like planning ahead, staying organized, and managing their workload. Lucy believes every student is unique and strives to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, working through challenges, and celebrating their progress.
Outside of tutoring, Lucy enjoys spending time with friends, staying active, volunteering, and participating in extracurricular activities at TCU.
