Linley Freeman

Academic Adviser

Linley, a Summa Cum Laude graduate from Texas Christian University, earned a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Child Development. During her time as an undergrad at TCU, Linley worked as a supervisor at the office of giving where she found a passion for guiding her co-workers in leadership, listening and communication. She furthered her passion for empowering others as a graduate research assistant while obtaining her Master’s in Developmental Trauma. This role honed Linley’s natural advising skills as she coached students through research projects, academic trials, and ultimately, aided the achievement of their goals.  Linley has a passion for encouraging others to reach their full potential while being sensitive and aware of meeting individuals where they are in life.

Linley is currently working toward her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at TCU, and enjoys spending time with her husband, Zach, and their two cats, cooking, and hosting game nights with her friends.

Linley has been a great resource for my daughter. She had a very rough year in 2020. My daughter fell behind on several topics and her grades were suffering.  Linley stepped into the situation and really helped herr get through that tough situation. My daughter developed a trusting relationship and her grades became much better and she was able to get through the 2020 - 2021 school year. Linley worked at her pace and on her schedule. There was even a weekend session. I would feel comfortable using Linley again or recommending her services to any one needing some guidance with a student.
