Campbell Chavez
Academic Adviser & Academic Support
Campbell is currently pursuing a degree in Accounting with a minor in Communications at Texas Christian University. Originally from Flower Mound, Texas, she attended a classical private high school, where she developed a strong academic foundation and learned firsthand the value of perseverance and effective study strategies.
Campbell has always enjoyed math and science and brings a thoughtful, patient approach to helping students work through challenging material. Having personally experienced the demands of a rigorous academic environment, she understands that learning does not always come easily. She enjoys helping students slow down, break challenges into manageable steps, and build confidence in their ability to succeed.
Her passion for working with students began in high school through her volunteer experience with Reading Buddies, where she discovered how rewarding it can be to help a student grow both academically and personally. Campbell is patient, focused, and empathetic, and she works to adapt her approach to each student's individual needs. She also helps students strengthen executive functioning skills by developing practical strategies for organization, time management, planning, and breaking larger assignments into manageable steps. Campbell believes in getting to know students beyond the classroom and connecting with their interests and passions to create a more encouraging and supportive learning environment.
Students and parents often describe Campbell as hardworking and focused, while her friends know her as bubbly and outgoing. Outside of school, she enjoys baking, going on walks, and has a background in dance. Campbell is excited to help students develop a growth mindset, recognize their own capabilities, and gain the confidence to keep going—even when something feels difficult.
