Academic Support
Originally from Tyler, Texas, Caitlyn is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Texas Christian University, where she is an active member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. She hopes to become a pediatric nurse after graduation. Having worked with an academic coach herself during high school, Caitlyn understands the impact that individualized support can have on a student's confidence and success. She is passionate about helping students reach their potential by creating a positive, encouraging learning environment where they feel supported every step of the way.
Caitlyn has a heart for serving others and has volunteered with numerous community organizations throughout high school and college. Her commitment to helping others extends beyond the classroom and reflects her passion for making a positive difference in the lives of those around her.
When she is home from college, Caitlyn works at Azalea Orthopedics in Tyler, Texas, where she assists with patient intake, appointment scheduling, insurance coordination, and preparing surgical instruments for physicians. This experience has strengthened her organization, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
As a tutor, Caitlyn believes every student learns differently and tailors her approach to meet each student's unique needs. She emphasizes patience, confidence-building, and positive reinforcement while helping students develop strong study habits and lasting confidence. Those who know her describe her as reliable, caring, kind, and adaptable, creating an environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, take risks, and grow.
Outside of tutoring, Caitlyn enjoys staying active by working out, going on walks, playing pickle ball, wake surfing, exploring new coffee shops, participating in Bible studies, spending time with friends, and relaxing outdoors with good food.
