Avery Yerasimides
Academic Support
Avery is a student at Texas Christian University, where she is pursuing degrees in Marketing and Management with an anticipated graduation in 2029. She graduated from Kentucky Country Day, a small private school in Louisville, Kentucky, and has been tutoring students since her sophomore year of high school. Avery enjoys building strong relationships with her students and helping them gain confidence both inside and outside the classroom.
Avery believes that mastering the fundamentals is the key to long-term success. She approaches each tutoring session with patience, empathy, and encouragement, understanding that every student learns differently. In addition to strengthening academic skills, Avery helps students develop effective organization, planning, and study habits that set them up for success both in and out of the classroom. Her goal is to help students build a strong academic foundation, become more confident and independent learners, and discover that they are capable of more than they realize. Students and families appreciate Avery's hardworking, determined, and positive approach, as well as her ability to connect with learners through genuine encouragement and support.
Outside of tutoring, Avery enjoys staying active, going on walks, spending time with friends, and is an active member of Kappa Kappa Gamma at TCU. A former field hockey player, she hopes to attend medical school and pursue a career as an orthopedic surgeon.
