Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Anna Claire, known by most students as AC, has been passionate about helping others learn for as long as she can remember. She tutored throughout high school, working with both peers and younger students, primarily in math and English, and she continues to bring that same enthusiasm to her work today.

AC is currently a student at Texas Christian University in the John Roach Honors College, where she is pursuing a degree in Environmental Science and Sustainability with minors in Political Science and Energy Business. She is also part of TCU’s highly selective Consultative Selling & Sustainable Business Practices program. With strong strengths in math and science, AC loves making these subjects approachable and engaging for the students that she supports.
Her philosophy on learning guides her approach: “Learning should always be fun! You can always find a way to help students enjoy the process. If work feels boring, it means you’re not challenging yourself—and if you’re not challenging yourself, it’s not fun.”

Students and families describe Anna Claire as highly organized and curious. She always comes prepared with a plan and goes above and beyond to fully understand the material she teaches—often researching beyond what’s required simply because she loves learning something new every day.
Outside of tutoring, AC enjoys an active and diverse set of interests. She plays guitar, competes on TCU’s powerlifting team, and serves as the Chi Omega Intramural Chair. She also loves the outdoors, especially kayaking, fishing, and skeet shooting. AC’s early years were spent in Germany as a military child, an experience that sparked her love for travel, culture, and global perspectives. She carries those memories—and the lifelong lessons they brought—into everything she does.
