Jamie Warren
Middle & High School Math
With an undergraduate degree in Special Education and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction in Math Education, Jamie is a perfect fit for students who struggle in math. She understands that each student learns differently and adapts her teaching to meet their needs. She says, “It is important to teach students to discover and understand what they are learning, as opposed to imitating and memorizing. I focus on building a deep conceptual understanding of mathematical concepts that students can build on.” For the last five years, Jamie has been working in Keller ISD as a high school math teacher and has previously taught Algebra 2, Precalculus and Geometry.
In her free time, Jamie enjoys spending time with her husband (married in October of 2023), indoor rock climbing, baking and reading. She is also director of a refugee outreach ministry at her church and she leads a Wednesday night children’s program for approximately 60 to 70 students.
