Jamie Atkison

Jamie graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. During her time at A&M, she mentored students both in the classroom and while volunteering with after school programs. Her passion to help students grow both personally and academically transferred into her work as a classroom teacher. Afterwards, Jamie leveraged her interpersonal skills and passion for student development during her career as a software engineer university programs recruiter for a globally recognized company. As a recruiter, she assisted college students with resume building and career skills, ultimately supporting the student in beginning their career path and finding an aligned position prior to and after graduation. Jamie uses the skills and knowledge from her education, classroom, and recruiting experience to provide tailored support while working alongside each student. Her student-focused approach to growth allows them to navigate and create their own journey towards success.
In her free time, Jamie enjoys quality time with her family and friends, volunteering, traveling, and spending time with her dogs.
