After graduating from Ohio State University with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Neuroscience, Emily attended the University of Central Florida where she earned a Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology. With a continued passion for gaining more knowledge, Emily is currently pursuing her Masters of Education in Counseling from TCU. While she was in Florida, Emily worked with children and families by conducting psychoeducational evaluations to understand students’ educational difficulties and recommended accommodations to schools with an aim to enhance students’ academic success and well-being. Emily believes that each student possesses unique strengths and skills that should be valued. As a mentor, she hopes to empower students to capitalize on these strengths and use them to overcome challenges and reach goals. While working with students of all ages, Emily has learned that a little support can make a big difference in the lives of students.
In her free time, Emily enjoys outdoor activities, listening to standup comedy, and spending quality time with her husband, stepdaughter, and three dogs.
